A Louisville food manufacturer has an opening for an individual to oversee, coordinate and support in a variety of administrative tasks in: sales, customer service and logistics. The job entails substantial data entry responsibilities.
This position REQUIRES a degree in business, accounting or a similar field and a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
Food related background (including chemicals, hospitality and pharmaceutical) is relevant and highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for existing customers and new inquiries
• Purchase order entry
• Manage and coordinate outgoing freight
• Coordinate, track and manage contracts, bids and quotes
• Prepare, file and retrieve sales-related documents such as contracts and quotes
• Originate and renew sales proposals
• Maintain and update internal databases with account and customer information
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure proper pre-and post-sales services
• Communicate internally customer feedback
• Create detailed reports
• Assist handle or manage social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement
• Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
• Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
• Handle, monitor, and resolve customer complaints
• Enter sales orders

The successful candidate should have: excellent expressive skills, high level computer knowledge especially in Excel and data bases, organization and independence. Understanding customer and employee service, sales and marketing.
