Finance Associate AttorneyWe are looking for a Finance Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join Morrison & Foerster's Finance practice group, representing banks, institutional lenders, and borrowers in complex, fast-paced secured lending transactions. This is an opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of smart, collaborative colleagues at a firm known for giving associates substantive client exposure early in their careers.What will you be doing?Representing banks, institutional lenders, and borrowers in secured lending transactionsDrafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, and commitment papersWorking on leveraged lending, syndicated lending, and sponsor finance dealsManaging internal and external client and counsel relationships on complex financing mattersTaking on increasing levels of responsibility for transactions with direct client interactionKey Requirements3-6 years of law firm experience primarily in secured lending transactions (class years 2020-2023)Demonstrated experience with leveraged finance, syndicated lending, or sponsor financeStrong drafting skills for loan documentation and closing materialsAdmitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive inPrior experience at a top-tier law firm with strong academic credentialsSalary $260K - $390K (Compensation follows the market-leading Cravath lockstep scale based on class year (2020-2023). Base salary ranges from $310K-$420K depending on class year, plus substantial annual bonus potential including standard lockstep bonus, high hours bonus, and merit incentive.
