Marketing Intern

HeyPao is a running app built by runners. We help people discover races around the world, see what their friends are signing up for, and find their next challenge and then we build them a personalised race-day pacing strategy that factors in course elevation and conditions, so all those training miles turn into a new PB. We're a small, fast-moving startup that just launched on the App Store, and we're now focused on getting HeyPao in front of runners everywhere. That's where you come in. Role Description This is a remote unpaid Summer Marketing Intern role. The intern will support social media marketing initiatives, including assisting with go‑to‑market planning for new features and campaigns, conducting market and competitor research, and helping define key messaging for runners and race organizers. The role also involves tracking basic performance metrics and helping document learnings to inform future product and marketing decisions. This internship is ideal for individuals interested in sports tech, product marketing, and data‑driven growth. Location : Remote Duration : July-August 2026 Compensation : Unpaid — ideal for students or early‑career candidates looking to gain real startup experience What You'll Do Lead marketing campaigns from concept through to execution, driving awareness and growth for the product Proficiency in Market Research and ability to analyze customer behavior and trends Create compelling content across social media like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Research and identify key audiences, communities, and partnerships to help HeyPao reach more runners Conduct Market Research and Go-to-Market Strategy development Who You Are Passionate about running Strong skills in Market Research and understanding customer insights Experienced with social media platforms and have a feel for what content resonates Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation A strong communicator and storyteller, whether in a caption, an email, or a pitch Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment Eager to learn, take feedback, and make a real impact from day one Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
