Marketing Assistant

Position: Marketing Intern Type: Part time (20-25 hours a week) Salary/Pay: Entry Level, Commensurate with experience ($9.50-$11.50 / hour) Primary Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to provide hands‑on support to the ITVantix marketing team by assisting with lead generation, CRM data management, campaign execution, content creation, event outreach, and general administrative tasks to help drive brand awareness, improve marketing efficiency, and support sales efforts. Position Overview The Marketing Assistant will support daily marketing tasks and campaigns, with a primary focus on lead generation, CRM management, content support, event outreach, and administrative assistance. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop practical skills in B2B marketing while learning how a fast‑growing IT company executes real‑world marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will report to the ITVantix office located in Warner Robins, GA and will occasionally need to travel to the Peachtree City and Conyers offices and surrounding areas with the marketing director to assist overall marketing efforts. Key Performance Indicators Accurate and complete lead list creation and CRM uploads. Improved data quality and organization in company CRM. Timely preparation and delivery of weekly mailers. Consistent and on‑brand social media and collateral templates produced. Professional and prompt outreach to local contacts for events and sponsorship opportunities. Lead Generation & Data Management Research and build out local lead lists, including company names, decision‑makers, and contact information. Upload and organize new leads into the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and proper tagging. Assist with cleaning and maintaining contact database by removing duplicates, updating outdated information, and improving data quality. Campaign Support Make calls to local businesses to find the right contact and set appointments for sales team. Help coordinate follow‑up tasks for outbound marketing campaigns, ensuring timely completion. Content Support Research and build out local lead lists, including company names, decision‑makers, and contact information. Upload and organize new leads into the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and proper tagging. Assist with cleaning and maintaining contact database by removing duplicates, updating outdated information, and improving data quality. Event & Community Outreach Assist in finding and reaching out to local contacts, including potential event sponsors, vendors, and partners. Draft and send outreach emails to secure local partnerships and community involvement opportunities. Provide occasional support at events, trade shows, or community sponsorship activities. Administrative Support Maintain organized project files and assist with marketing team task tracking. Perform general administrative duties to support marketing operations as needed. Skills Required and Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations Current college student or recent high school graduate looking for experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic understanding of Excel/Google Sheets for data entry. Familiarity with social media platforms and Canva for content creation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. A willingness to learn new tools and processes. Working Conditions Normal professional, office environment. Due to the nature of this position, working closely with multiple departments and core business units, this role is unable to be performed remotely. No requests will be considered for remote status. This position may require occasional light physical tasks (lifting, packing, labeling mailers); opportunities to attend local networking or sponsorship events as needed and will primarily be performed in the Warner Robins office during standard office hours customized to part‑time needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
