Technical Trainer

Growth opportunity on the West Coast and in Mexico for a Technical Trainer in the U.S. to support wholesalers and distributors of our clients products. The U.S. Technical Trainer will help with growth opportunities including having a presence at trade shows, improving existing customer relationships, and identifying opportunities for new parts and additional increased sales with new customers and in new regions. The Technical Trainer will be the hands‑on independent leader responsible for conducting technical and commercial training sessions as well as coordinating customer webinars, workshops, and promotional events. Key Responsibilities Conduct technical and commercial training sessions/webinars/workshops at wholesaler and workshop level Coordinate customer activities such as campaigns, in-house exhibitions, workshop visits, trainings and continually sharing specific promotions and product updates Attending customer events and trade fairs On call to provide technical information to professional installers of MEYLE products and respond to technical inquiries from repair technicians including warranty claims Successful implementation of marketing campaigns in collaboration with our Headquarters Provide HQ with feedback on product‑related topics (frequently failing O.E. parts, missing items etc.) Continually updating customer data and travel reports (CRM) Travel will be 50-60% primarily to West Coast customers Participates in planning processes (e.g., needs assessment, course development, and delivery) Assists with marketing training events to maximize participation including getting to know personnel in assigned markets Corresponds with management about training activities, test results, and evaluations Identifies areas of improvement, suggests training courses to correct, and follows up with customer evaluations to determine success of programs Ensures an effective learning environment for participants including having proper meeting room setup, equipment, and ordering materials Professional Experience/Qualifications Basic knowledge of automotive systems, including steering and suspension, drivetrain, brakes, engine components, and vehicle electronics preferred Interest in automotive technology and willingness to learn technical training concepts and automotive engineering principles Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate audiences Familiarity with European vehicles and parts is a plus Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in diverse and multicultural environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
