Position Highlights

• Specialty: Nephrology
• Open to experienced providers or new graduates (Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing residency)
• Position Location: Massena Hospital (Massena, NY) and/or Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Potsdam, NY)
• Schedule: Flexible schedule to meet a 40 hour work week.
• Call Requirement: Continuity of care call and eConsult system needs
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Nephrology practice
• EMR: Epic
• Team Structure: Collaboration with St. Lawrence Region Physicians and clinical support staff as well as other RRH System Physicians and providers

• Base salary range of $400,000-$425,000*

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

Physician - NYS Office of Professions New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 2050 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
