Software EngineerThe Enterprise Applications team is seeking a Software Engineer to help build high-visibility, enterprise capabilities that support our diverse software landscape. There is a strong emphasis on full-stack development, specifically.NET, React, Message Systems, and agentic application development. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend, Madison or Appleton.Summary of Responsibilities:.NET & REST expertiseMicroservices experience.React & React HooksFamiliarity with API specification and practices.Agentic development techniques, including agent and workflow orchestration, tool/function calling, human-in-the-loop patterns, and secure, observable agent design.Automated unit, integration, and regression testing.CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy and release code to the cloud.Continuous advocacy of technical craftsmanship and preferred/best practices.Review and oversight of peer proposals and solutions.Practical Experience With One Or More Of The Following:Enterprise AI/LLM Engineering (Prompt Engineering, Microsoft Agent Framework, MCP, A2A, RAG, etc.)Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure preferred).Event driven design. (Azure Service Bus / NServiceBus)Preferred Education and Training:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experienceThe salary range for this position is $96,842 - $121,053. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
