Job Responsibilities
- Unload empty cases from trailers and stack empty pallets.
- Wash out trailers and ensure clean, empty trailers are available for outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Clean case washers daily to ensure proper sanitation of cases.
- Monitor and document case washer temperatures.
- Check and record cleaning solution concentrations at least once per shift, in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Remove returned product from trailers as needed.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data. Bilingual skills are beneficial.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Must maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company, per location requirements.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand/walk on your feet constantly during your shift.
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backwards.
- Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to work outside and be exposed to the outside weather/temperature conditions.
- Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
