DS Sr Mgr Global Payroll Process

Senior Manager – Global Payroll Process Location: Raynham, Massachusetts or New Brunswick, New Jersey Key Responsibilities Financial and HR Data Quality Management Design and execute processes and controls for accurate employee payment data. Collaborate with HR systems teams for data governance. Define Data Ownership Across Functions Establish clear ownership structures for Payroll, Total Rewards, and HR functions. Steady State Project and Portfolio Management Define and govern the payroll project portfolio, including vision, success criteria, and governance framework. Prioritize initiatives, manage intake, evaluate proposals, and monitor progress against budget, scope, and schedule. Identify and mitigate portfolio‑level risks and support audits. Contract Management and Financial Support Monitor financial metrics, vendor performance, and Service Level Agreements. Ensure active contracts meet requirements. Steady State Change Management Manage global change‑management intake and governance processes. Vendor Assessments and SOC Reviews Collaborate with IT and payroll operations to conduct vendor assessments and SOC reviews. Complete SOX deliverables and remediate identified issues. Audit and Advisory Support Coordinate payroll audits and prepare required documentation. Act as liaison between payroll and audit groups. Process Deep Dives Lead analyses of key payroll processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities. Recommend and implement enhancements for efficiency and control. User Access Management SME Lead identity and access management for payroll systems. Training and End User Readiness Develop training content and conduct sessions on payroll and T&A processes. Resource Planning & Talent Development Allocate resources across projects and support professional development. Data Governance, Quality & Reporting Maintain dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio reports for leadership. Quality Assurance & Testing Governance Define testing strategies including UAT and data migration validation. Process Standardization & Automation Champion standard PMO processes and identify automation opportunities. Benefits Tracking & Lessons Learned Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons and report realized value. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive responsibility in Finance, Payroll, and/or Compliance with a focus on governance, data quality, and process improvement. Proven experience leading major projects and global teams. Strong understanding of Payroll and Time & Attendance risk control frameworks. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience interacting with senior executives. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Experience managing global teams effectively, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments by being flexible, collaborative, and deadline‑driven. Knowledge of HR, Contact Center operations preferred. Will travel up to 25% and work with teams across multiple time zones.
