Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit (12 Hour Nights)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12 hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Neuro Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in neurosciences. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including strokes, seizures, and postoperative spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions and treatments.
• Document all patient care activities in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Strong neuro experience in acuity settings.
