Regional Sales Manager Wanted! We are partnering with our client who is hiring for a Regional Sales Manager in the Midwest and Northeast. Company Highlights • Growing company and industry leader in precision measurement equipment • Serves customers across industries including rubber, plastics, metal roll-forming, and similar applications • Opportunity to develop and grow a sales territory across the Midwest, Northeast and portions of eastern Canada • Technical sales position with direct responsibility for developing customer relationships and closing sales Location: Home-office based; preference for candidates in Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio Travel: Up to 50%; must be within one hour of a major airport Job Responsibilities • Achieve sales targets established by the Global Sales Director. • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the industries served by our client. • Generate and follow up on leads through cold calling, networking, advertising, email, and other market-development activities. • Introduce and demonstrate products to potential customers through phone, email, and face-to-face contact. • Travel to customer facilities to conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and negotiate purchase agreements with end-users and OEMs. Background Requirements • 3+ years of experience selling industrial solution products, ideally in the $20K–$250K price range. • Experience in measurement technology. • Working knowledge of tire manufacturing, rubber/plastic extrusion, metal roll-forming, or similar industries. • Knowledge of quality concepts such as Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC. • Strong self-driven personality with the ability to work independently and remain motivated. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior management. • Strong computer/software skills and ability to demonstrate instruments and software at customer sites. • Software sales experience, vision system technology experience, technical BS degree preferred.
