Program Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, implements, and evaluates programs for inmates with approval from the administration. Responsible for maintaining resources to ensure programs run smoothly. Help build positive relations within the team and external parties. Takes proactive steps to ensure programs remain within scope and schedule. Coordinates with departments to confirm that assigned programs are completed according to specifications and timelines. Coordinating with all departments to ensure compliance with ACA (American Correctional Association) standards. Providing the administration with regular updates on all programs and assignments. Any other tasks assigned.
Required Knowledge Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to be tactful, have excellent judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all topics related to the facility. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Certificate Administrative, clerical, and customer service experience required.
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems quickly and use technology effectively. Corrections experience preferred.
