Physician Assistant - Outpatient & Urgent Care
The Mescalero Apache Tribe resides on a reservation of 463,000 acres in the Southwest. The Mescalero Service Unit Indian Health Service operates a 13-bed Mescalero Indian Hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services, supplemented by field health programs. The hospital's outpatient department includes several specialty clinics.
Responsibilities include providing diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic health services, making critical evaluations, ordering and interpreting tests, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety procedures.
Requirements include holding an active, current, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license, NCCPA Certification, 36 months of Physician Assistant experience, and current Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
Base year plus 4-12 month options available.
