Payroll Specialist

Make an immediate impact by ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time Develop your expertise in payroll systems and processes Work with a collaborative team that values your contributions Opportunity to grow your career in payroll and finance What You'll Do: Process and audit high-volume biweekly payroll, ensuring accurate employee pay, timekeeping, and coding across departments, cost centers, and job codes. Review and maintain payroll data, including new hires, terminations, leaves, pay rate changes, PTO balances, department allocations, garnishments, and third-party sick pay. Reconcile payroll registers, prepare payroll reports and general ledger journal entries, and ensure timely, accurate payroll processing. Process off-cycle payrolls, manual checks, travel reimbursements, referral bonuses, taxable fringe benefits, and termination accrual payouts. Collaborate with managers to resolve payroll discrepancies, provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures, and follow up on outstanding payroll matters. Support payroll operations through cross-training, special projects, process improvements, and other assigned responsibilities.
