Job Description
At the GS-12 you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the full performance level (GS-13), you will perform the following:
- Develop security policies and procedures to ensure Information System (IS) reliability and accessibility to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- Develop master contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures for all Information Systems.
- Support the Command Information Officer (CIO) in managing the Echelon II duties for Department of the Navy Safety Management and Reporting IT portfolio.
- Review and recommend purchase of all IT assets.
- Support development and maintenance of the Certification and Accreditation packages for Naval Safety Command Programs of Record.
- Manage Information Assurance Vulnerability reporting and Scan reporting for Naval Safety Command Programs of Records and customer assets.
