TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Duties
You will implement policies and procedures to manage the key management infrastructure (KMI) system.
You will administer COMSEC resources in support of MSC fleet and shore component operations.
You will plan and coordinate the centralized procurement and distribution of COMSEC materials for one of two unique COMSEC accounts in the DON assigned to MSC.
You will assess the effectiveness of current processes and procedures for the maintenance and operations of secure communication systems.
You will measure Local Element performances to determine the impact and effectiveness of procedural and process changes.
You will utilize formal project management techniques to define scope, develop schedules, obtain stakeholders consensus, execute, and track progress of assigned COMSEC related projects.
You will interpret COMSEC guidance and advise Local Elements on the proper handling, maintenance and operation of assigned COMSEC equipment.
