Assistant Property Manager

Description DoorLife Real Estate is seeking an experienced, service-minded Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our growing residential portfolio. This role is an on-site and in-the-field position where you will be working alongside our Director of Property Management to conduct property showings and visits, help support leasing activities, coordinate and attend maintenance/inspections, address routine resident and owner needs, and ensure tasks are completed from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing field work with office responsibilities. Responsibilities • Conduct rental showings, property visits, and inspections as needed.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and lease documentation.
• Support the Leasing Specialist during absences or busy periods.
• Meet with maintenance vendors on site and track work orders through completion.
• Collaborate with the Property Management, Maintenance, Leasing, and Real Estate teams.
• Support day-to-day resident and owner communication.
• Resolve routine, non-escalated issues and escalate when appropriate.
• Review leases and answer general lease-related questions.
• Help onboard new property management clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in company systems.
• Follow through on commitments and identify opportunities to improve operations. Qualifications • Experience in residential property management, leasing, or rentals.
• Familiarity with property maintenance, residential leases, and property management procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Positive, solution-focused, and professional communication with residents, owners, vendors, and teammates.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between properties.
• Active Pennsylvania Real Estate License preferred.
• AppFolio or similar property management software experience preferred.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and lease documentation.
