Motor Driven Reels Assembly Technician
We are looking for a Motor Driven Reels Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble mechanical and electrical components, install wiring per specifications, test and troubleshoot assemblies, and help ensure our products meet quality and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components for motor-driven cable reels
- Perform wiring installations and connect color-coded wires according to schematics
- Test, adjust, and troubleshoot assemblies as needed
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Identify and communicate quality, design, or production concerns
- Support safety, quality, and 5S initiatives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous mechanical or electrical assembly experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to complete forklift and overhead crane certification training
