Overview VP Aviation is hiring Avionics Technicians to support heavy maintenance and C-Check programs at a commercial aircraft maintenance facility in Lake City, Florida. Offering $1,200.00 per week at 40 hours , not including overtime. This is a contract opportunity for avionics technicians with experience supporting commercial aircraft maintenance, aircraft modifications, systems checks, and avionics troubleshooting. Candidates with military aircraft maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Commercial aircraft C-Checks and heavy maintenance programs Aircraft avionics troubleshooting and repair Aircraft electrical system inspections and testing Operational checks and systems verification Removal and installation of avionics components Aircraft wiring installation, routing, and termination Aircraft modification and upgrade programs Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, and engineering documentation Completing maintenance and inspection records Requirements Minimum 3 years of aircraft avionics experience Experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation Ability to work in a heavy maintenance environment Ability to work overtime as required Preferred Experience Commercial aircraft heavy maintenance C-Checks and major inspection programs Aircraft modification programs Systems checkout and operational testing Military aircraft maintenance Why Work With VP Aviation?
