About the Position

Job Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnography Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have state license in hand Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, OR Polysomnography License Must-Have: Must have license in hand Description: Position is for a Polysomnography professional. Candidates must be able to work night shifts. Weekends are required, with Friday night shifts extending into Saturday morning. Special requirements include holding an active license. The facility is a short-term acute care center with a total of 108 staff beds. Scrub color policy allows any color for RN/Allied staff. Charting will be done using Epic. Daily patient census includes adults and geriatrics. The position requires experience in various sleep testing procedures. Applicants should possess skills in End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, CPAP, BiPAP, and PSG scoring. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Providers will need to complete a specific state exam before starting. Candidates must adhere to holiday shift requirements.
