About the Position

Job Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnography Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, OR Polysomnography License Must-Have: Must have OR license in hand Description: This position requires a dedicated professional with expertise in polysomnography. The role involves conducting sleep studies and monitoring patients during sleep. Candidates should be proficient in various sleep diagnostic equipment and techniques. Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, ASV, CPAP, and BiPAP is essential. Additional skills required include ECG, EEG, and PSG scoring. Candidates must be familiar with patient education and infection control protocols. Weekends are required, and the Friday night shift will extend into Saturday morning. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities when necessary. Candidates will be part of a team focused on diagnosing sleep disorders. The facility primarily cares for adults and geriatric patients with sleep-related issues. Attendance during the holidays is expected.
