Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Postpartum Experience Required

Hours: 18:00 – 06:30
Dress Code: Navy scrubs with navy warm-up jacket

Position Overview We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with strong postpartum experience. This role requires flexibility to float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units while providing high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including interpreting fetal heart rate tracings

• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures

• Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care

• Deliver postpartum care, including assessments of mother and infant, pain management, and discharge planning

• Float to postpartum unit as needed based on staffing and patient care needs

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (or compact state)

• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Required: Postpartum experience and willingness to float

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Schedule & Work Environment

• Night shift: 18:00 – 06:30

• Rotating weekends required
