Attorney - Civil Litigation

A respected and growing law firm in Pasadena is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its dynamic litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to take ownership of cases, work directly with clients, and handle sophisticated litigation matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, discovery, and court filings. Take and defend depositions. Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. Develop case strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients. Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters. Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California Bar. 5+ years of civil litigation experience. Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Experience independently managing cases and client relationships. Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience required. Trial experience is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Full-time, hybrid Salary range: $165,000-$215,000 annually + performance bonuses (Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)
