Business Controller US Government Services

Responsibilities Kforce's client, a growing and mission-driven organization located in the San Antonio, TX area, is seeking an experienced Business Controller to lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and government contract accounting activities. This client offers competitive compensation, bonus potential and comprehensive benefits Significant growth opportunity and a Collaborative and supportive culture Key Responsibilities: Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals Oversee financial performance analysis, profitability reporting, cash flow, working capital, and variance analysis Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial controls Support contract pricing, audits, compliance requirements, and government contracting activities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA, MBA, or Big Four experience preferred 10+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or FP&A experience Strong knowledge of U.S. Government Contracting, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), IFRS, and U.S. GAAP Advanced Excel skills required The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
