Surgical Technologist II

Role: Surgical Technologist II Responsibilities: Ensure a sterile environment, safely pass instruments, participate in surgical counts, communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients, follow policies and safety standards, and support peri-operative nursing care across all patient ages. Engage in unit educational activities to maintain professional growth. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, accredited surgical technologist training, current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, and knowledge of instrumentation. Must demonstrate understanding of growth and development principles and provide age-appropriate care. LPN licensure required for grandfathered employees. Key Duties: Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate quality patient care, maintain sterile fields, assist in surgical procedures, and adhere to regulatory standards.
