Medical Assistant Certified

Responsible for assisting physicians, nurses and office supervisor with clinical duties. Cross training as needed per practice. Primary position responsibilities include initial intake, patient room preparation, before and after care, patient order, point of care, patient safety, and attending staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent
• Medical assistant certification required; must have CPR certification or obtain within 6 months
• Minimum years of experience: none required
• Knowledge, skills and/or abilities: customer service skills required; computer skills, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills
