The Large Loss Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the reconstruction department. This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians and trade partners.Responsibilities:Conduct on-site inspectionsManage multiple large loss projects across residential and commercial sectors with speed, quality, and financial accountabilityLead, train, and motivate field technicians, supervisors, and subcontractorsOversee daily coordination of reconstruction activities; ensure all work is completed per scope and codePrepare and present change orders, work progress summaries, and updates to insurance carriers, adjusters, and property ownersMaintain daily job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, and progress notes; ensure proper usage of moisture mapping softwareMonitor profit margins and job costing throughout the project lifecycleReview job budgets, assign resources, and ensure labor/equipment use aligns with project goalsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, and adjusters, setting expectations and managing deliverablesMaintain strong relationships with vendors, trade partners, and in-house teamsEnsure compliance with health/safety protocols, licensing, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in after-hours emergency response rotation for high-priority claimsRequirements:3+ years of experience in water mitigation and 2+ years managing large loss or complex projectsIICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) preferredDemonstrated ability to lead field teams and subcontractors through large and complex job sitesProven communication and conflict resolution skills with adjusters, property owners, and large teamsTrack record of delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting margin goalValid driver's license and clean driving recordKeywords: restoration, Xactimate, IICRC
