About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of HR Compliance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of HR compliance professionals, serving as the primary expert on federal and state employment laws, and developing compliance strategies to support the organization's expansion into new U.S. markets. This role involves overseeing various compliance programs, leading complex employee relations matters, and partnering with legal, payroll, tax, and operations teams on compliance initiatives. The Head of HR Compliance will also be tasked with designing policies and processes to mitigate employment and joint-employer risk, as well as developing reporting, audit programs, and compliance dashboards for leadership. Applicants for the Head of HR Compliance position at the company should have extensive HR leadership experience within staffing, workforce solutions, or contingent labor environments. A strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws, particularly California labor regulations, is essential. The role requires expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, and risk management, as well as experience with HR technology, compliance automation, and HRIS platforms. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field, advanced HR certifications, and a background in leading compliance initiatives within technology-enabled staffing organizations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills are a must, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
