Employee Benefits Sales Executive

Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Sales Executive to drive new business growth within the NYC Metro territory. This role is focused on developing relationships with middle-market and large-market clients and delivering tailored employee benefits solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven record of sales success, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to independently develop new business while building long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of Employee Benefits clients within the assigned territory, with a focus on middle-market and large-market organizations. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development. Build and maintain strong client relationships to support satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth. Consult with prospective and existing clients to understand organizational needs and recommend appropriate Employee Benefits solutions. Collaborate with internal service and support teams to ensure a consistent client experience. Meet or exceed established sales and production goals. Stay current on Employee Benefits trends, market developments, carrier offerings, and regulatory changes. Maintain accurate sales activity and client information within applicable CRM and agency management software. Travel within the assigned territory as needed. Qualifications / Requirements 3+ years of Employee Benefits sales or producer experience. Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license. Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales goals. Experience working with middle-market or large-market clients. Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to stay informed on industry trends and provide knowledgeable guidance to clients. Compensation Package Base Salary: $100,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience. Commission opportunities in addition to base salary. Competitive commission structure. Additional benefits may be available based on the employer's overall compensation package.
