Career Path & Training Start as a Trainee in a 5‑week paid training program and earn a $0.50 hourly raise with promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Continue to the Pawnbroker Certification Program to earn an additional $1.00 per hour and opportunities to progress to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader) or Assistant Manager, which includes a 6‑month training program to build management skills. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and interacting with them in person and on the phone. Process sales, loans, and extensions. Perform opening and closing store duties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Customer service, cashier, or retail experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work well independently and as a member of a team. Ability to multitask. Pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer). Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) – a plus. Sales background – a plus. Bilingual – a plus.
