Senior/ Lead – Sourcing

The Senior/ Lead – Sourcing supports the Pipeline organization by developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives across primarily service-based spend categories. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and other technical stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, optimize supplier performance, negotiate commercial agreements, and deliver measurable cost savings. The ideal candidate can quickly take ownership of sourcing categories, build credibility with business partners, and independently lead complex sourcing projects from strategy through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned categories to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and support business objectives.
• Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Manage supplier relationships by conducting regular business reviews, monitoring service levels, and ensuring contractual compliance.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities and support operational needs.
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier capabilities to make strategic sourcing recommendations and identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while coordinating with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Support implementation of supplier agreements and help ensure negotiated savings are realized through effective supplier and category management.
• Serve as a trusted sourcing advisor by providing market intelligence, procurement guidance, and best practices to business partners.
