They should establish strong partnerships with IT, facilitate regular touchpoints, and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. The team owns the end-to-end analytics lifecycle—from data ingestion and engineering to data modeling, dashboard development, and business insights. We also work closely with IT and data engineering teams to define requirements, coordinate the productionization of data products, and ensure successful delivery. Once solutions are deployed, the team is responsible for validating the data, confirming it meets business requirements, and ensuring it is ready for operational use. This provides team members exposure to the full product and analytics delivery process while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.How will the resource fit into your team?:The Product Owner will play a critical role on the team by serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT. They will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing requirements, managing the product backlog, and coordinating closely with IT and data engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. The Product Owner will help drive the productionization of data products, ensure business requirements are clearly understood and implemented, and lead the validation process to confirm the delivered solution meets quality standards and is ready for production use. Their ability to align stakeholders, remove roadblocks, and facilitate communication across teams will be essential to the successful delivery of data and analytics solutions.Day-to-Day Activities· Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements and discuss priorities.· Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to clarify requirements and answer questions.· Create and manage user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.· Review sprint progress and prioritize upcoming work items.· Facilitate discussions between technical and business teams to resolve issues and make tradeoff decisions.· Validate data and analytics solutions delivered by IT teams.· Track project milestones and provide status updates to stakeholders.· Ensure delivered capabilities are production-ready and aligned with business objectives.Success Measures· Timely delivery of high-value data and analytics products.· Strong stakeholder satisfaction and alignment. · Well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
