Data EngineerImmediate need for a talented Data Engineer. This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Sioux City, Iowa (Remote). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key ResponsibilitiesData Platform & Architecture - Develop strategic roadmaps for enterprise data infrastructure - Design and implement modern data platforms (Client-centric) - Contribute to cloud platform selection and scalabilityETL / Data Engineering - Design and build complex ETL/ELT pipelines - Re-engineer legacy Guidewire DHIC pipelines - Troubleshoot pipelines including reinsurance and Qlik workflowsGuidewire Data Integration - Work with data from PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter - Map Guidewire data models to modern warehouse structuresCollaboration & Delivery - Work with business, reporting and IT teams - Deliver scalable and secure data solutionsData Governance & Compliance - Implement data governance and quality controls - Ensure audit-ready and compliant data processesKey Requirements and Technology ExperienceKey skills; Guidewire, SQL, ET5 years in Data Engineering - Strong Client / Databricks / ETL experience - Strong SQL and data modelingGuidewire DHIC experience - P&C Insurance domain experience - Exposure to Qlik or BI toolsBusiness Context - Replacing Guidewire DHIC with in-house data platform - Focus on Client and cloud modernizationOur client is a leading Insurance Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
