Registered Nurse NICU

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-level, technical nursing care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate care, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Supervise team members, communicate effectively, build relationships, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Maintain accurate documentation, administer medications and IVs safely, and support patient and family education. Take accountability for performance, seek professional growth, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN license, Basic Life Support certification, and minimum 1 year NICU RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to handle confidential information and work efficiently in a high-demand environment.
