As a Level IV NICU Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill newborns and premature infants. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, specialists, and support staff to monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and support families through challenging medical journeys. Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care for critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU setting. Continuously monitoring vital signs, managing complex technological equipment, and responding swiftly to acute changes in patient status. Administering medications, intravenous therapies, and specialized nutrition according to physician orders and clinical protocols. Collaborating effectively with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans. Communicating compassionately with families, providing emotional support, education, and guidance during their baby's hospitalization. Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
