- Schedule customer orders and create production schedules that meet customer due dates and shipment forecasts
- Ensure smooth workflow through the shop by coordinating with Production Supervisor and Shift Leads
- Maintain up-to-date order and manufacturing dates in current reports
- Alert Production Supervisor promptly if due dates can't be met or schedules need adjustment, explaining the reasons
- Monitor jobs closely to identify potential delays early and allow time for corrective action
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor and Inventory Control to requisition necessary parts and materials
- Develop supply schedules that balance customer demand with inventory levels and resource use
- Negotiate and resolve conflicts related to material availability and scheduling priorities
- Suggest and implement improvements to scheduling processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree with 3+ years experience OR 5+ years relevant experience
- 3+ years in supply chain or operations management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
