Job Summary:

Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in Obstetrics (L&D) is needed in the Iowa region. This role involves providing high-quality care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in a facility that handles approximately 19 to 31 deliveries per month. The position requires active involvement in obstetric patient care, including neonatal nursery responsibilities, with an emphasis on supporting patients through the childbirth process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa or multistate compact Nursing license, 24 months of current Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), NRP, BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Postpartum and nursery experience, ability to float to Med Surg or ICU as needed, and experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates will undergo rapid interview processes via phone call or text from a 405 area code. Orientation dates are scheduled for 07/27/2026, 08/03/2026, and 08/10/2026. Candidates must have a current skills checklist specific to Labor and Delivery, and their work history should demonstrate recent, relevant clinical experience in obstetrics. Active licensure and professional references are required for consideration.
