About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Investment Associate to support portfolio management, trading, and investment research across client accounts. This role is critical in delivering sound investment strategies and maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service.

NOTE: Candidates must reside in or near Dubuque, Iowa.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support portfolio management through account reviews, performance analysis, and recommendations.
• Execute trades, including funds, equities, bonds, block trades, and portfolio rebalancing.
• Conduct investment research and due diligence using tools such as Morningstar Direct.
• Monitor market trends and assist in developing economic updates and commentary.
• Prepare client materials, reports, and presentations for meetings and board discussions.
• Support compliance through portfolio monitoring and reporting and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., brokers).

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent years of experience.
• Prior experience in investment management, portfolio administration, or trading (preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel for data analysis
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and execution
• Interest in financial markets, investments, and economic trends
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate insights clearly
• Ownership mindset with confidence in research and recommendations
• Experience with portfolio management tools and research platforms a plus (e.g., Morningstar Direct).
