Practice Assistant – Healthcare

8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or major holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a medical assistant program (CCMA, RMA, or CMA) or at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills in English, and ability to perform basic math
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support under the direction of a licensed nurse or provider
• Assist with patient intake and gather necessary medical information
• Monitor patient flow and communicate wait times to patients
• Prepare patients and equipment for visits and treatments
• Document vital signs and other patient data accurately
• Assist with various clinical tasks and ensure compliance with protocols and standards
