LHH recruitment solutions is hiring an accountant in the Palm beach Gardens, FL area. Our client is searching for a hands-on accountant for a fully onsite position in Palm Beach Gardens. The successful candidate will independently oversee recurring daily accounting activity, maintain accurate financial records, and serve as the primary accounting resource for the division. The role is well suited for an accounting professional who enjoys structured processes, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and values long-term stability. Key Responsibilities

· Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple financial services entities.

· Perform daily bank and account reconciliations.

· Research and resolve discrepancies accurately and promptly.

· Prepare and post journal entries.

· Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.

· Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activity.

· Assist with month-end accounting and financial reporting.

· Prepare financial information and presentations for division leadership.

· Monitor daily accounting activity and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.

· Maintain organized records and manage multiple recurring deadlines.

Qualifications

· Minimum of two years of full-cycle accounting or strong bookkeeping experience and Bachelor degree

· Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, debits and credits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

· Previous accounting experience within mortgage, title, insurance, or financial services.

· Experience handling daily, high-volume reconciliations.
