Logistics Coordinator Location: Wilton, CT Pay: $25.00/hour Duration: 4-6 Month Contract Launch Your Career in Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking to gain hands-on experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management? We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipment scheduling and transportation operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate shipments across established transportation routes. Track shipment status and ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment updates. Maintain accurate shipment records and enter information into company systems. Troubleshoot scheduling and routing issues to minimize delays. Provide shipment status updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Ensure all transportation documentation is organized and up to date. Qualifications Associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and data entry systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Interest in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations careers. Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented and proactive.
