As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.15 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned. Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store contacts and emergency responders when needed. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
