1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimum Job Requirements: Current New York State licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Job Description: Job Title: 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - School-Based Approximately 6.5 hours per day (6-hour school day plus bus transportation to and from school) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing services for an elementary school student with a disability in a school setting. This position requires close supervision of the student's health needs throughout the school day, including during transportation to and from school. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student during the entire school day and while riding the bus to and from school. Observe, monitor, measure, and document the student's health status and report relevant data to appropriate personnel. Administer prescribed medications and perform clinical procedures as needed. Support the student in safely and fully accessing the school environment. Collaborate with school staff, healthcare providers, and family to support the student's individualized health and educational needs.
