Laboratory - Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Medical Technologist Laboratory

Shift: 7 AM to 7:30 PM, 7 on 7 off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Guaranteed Hours: 40, Contract Length: 16 weeks

Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory Science.

Medical Technologist must hold a bachelor's degree and be certified/registered by one of the following: MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), CLS(NCA).

Minimum of one year of experience preferred.

Perform analyses, tests, and procedures that assist in the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of diseases.

Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy in results.

Accession and order tests in the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), processing specimens with referrals as necessary.

Maintain documentation according to regulatory agencies and laboratory policies and procedures.

Follow sterilization and infection control procedures when handling infectious clinical specimens.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and comfort with routine phlebotomy.
