ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Financial Services Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Evan Brown - State Farm Agent, you will help customers protect what they have today while planning for their financial future.

This is a sales-focused position for someone who enjoys building relationships, having meaningful financial conversations, and helping customers take action toward their goals. You will work with both existing customers and new prospects to identify financial needs and provide appropriate insurance and financial-services solutions.

The ideal candidate is motivated, competitive, comfortable discussing money and financial goals, and capable of turning customer conversations into long-term relationships and new business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new financial-services business through existing customer relationships, referrals, prospecting, and scheduled appointments.
• Conduct financial conversations to understand customers' goals, needs, time horizons, and risk tolerance.
• Educate customers on available financial and protection solutions, including:
  • Roth IRAs
  • Brokerage products
  • Advisory services
  • 529 college savings plans
  • Variable Universal Life (VUL) insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Short-term disability insurance
• Help customers understand investment and insurance concepts in clear, simple language.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships by addressing additional financial and protection needs.
• Conduct follow-up appointments and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Build long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and ongoing financial conversations.
• Meet established sales and production goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all applicable State Farm, securities, insurance, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active insurance and securities licensing appropriate for the position strongly preferred.
• SIE and applicable FINRA/NASAA registrations, including Series 6, 63, and/or 65, preferred.
• Life and Health Insurance license preferred.
• Previous financial-services, investment, insurance, banking, or consultative sales experience preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable prospecting, asking for appointments, discussing financial needs, and closing business.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple and understandable way.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable production goals.
• Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-up and attention to detail.
• Commitment to conducting business ethically and within all applicable compliance requirements.
