$55,000 - $75,000 yearly

• Collaborate closely with attorneys and other support personnel to ensure cases are efficiently worked up and pushed towards resolution.

• Conduct background investigations and other research to support case strategies, providing attorneys with well-documented findings.

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, disclosures, discovery responses/requests, notices, pre-trial documents, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.

• Coordinate and manage communication with clients, witnesses, and experts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring timely information exchange.

• Assist in the scheduling and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, ensuring all materials are ready and accessible.

• Maintain and update case management systems, tracking deadlines, client information, case details, liens, medical providers, paid vs. incurred, and court information.

• Support attorneys in client meetings, taking detailed notes and following up on action items to ensure client satisfaction and case progress.

• 3-5 years of solid experience in plaintiff-side medical malpractice and/or personal injury litigation. You must have experience working directly on a legal/litigation team in a legal assistant or paralegal capacity.

• Strong command of Texas civil procedure and local court rules.

• Proficiency with Office 365 and electronic case management/document management platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
