Job Description
A well-established global logistics provider is seeking an experienced and results-oriented International Operations Supervisor to lead and strengthen its international division at a major West Coast gateway location.
This organization has an existing international operations team and is focused on elevating performance, profitability, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys improving processes, developing strong teams, and delivering measurable operational results.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence across international freight operations
- Strengthen customer service standards and accountability
- Negotiate competitive international carrier and agent pricing
- Oversee Air and Ocean Import & Export activities
- Partner closely with Sales to support both new and existing account growth
- Participate in customer meetings and business development efforts
- Develop scalable processes to support continued expansion
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and international shipping requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing international freight forwarding operations (Air/Ocean Import & Export)
- Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing operations teams
- Strong background in international rate negotiation
