As a baker you will be preparing dough, mixing batter, baking, or frying to perfection, and setting our doughnuts up to be fresh, fluffy, and flawless. Tourists flock, locals stay loyal, and our doughnuts keep going viral.If you’re high-energy, love people, and can handle a little sugar-fueled chaos then we want you on the team.What You’ll DoFollow recipes and directions to create delicious doughnutsAccurately weigh ingredients and measure liquids (precision matters!)Prepare, cut, and fry doughnutsSafely operate fryers, ovens, and bakery equipmentPrepare dough, glaze, icing, fillings, and other tasty componentsStore dough and doughnuts properly to maintain freshness and qualityFollow portion controls and par levels to support production flowUnderstand and follow food allergy procedures and special-order restrictionsTrack and record proper times and temperatures for products preparedMaintain awareness of inventory and communicate supply needsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness proceduresJump in on additional tasks as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothlyWhat You Bring1+ year of months of pastry or baking experience preferredMust have a Food Handler’s CardMust be legally authorized to work per State and Federal guidelinesStrong attention to detail + pride in doing things the right wayA positive attitude and ability to stay focused during high-volume productionPhysical Requirements / Working ConditionsStanding and walking for the duration of each shiftBending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbsAbility to multitask and stay positive in a busy kitchen environmentTypical shifts are 8 hours, including weekends and holidaysMost of our shops are open 24/7 — we keep the doughnuts coming!Kitchen environment includes heat, occasional wet floors, and sharp equipmentMust comply with uniform and hygiene standardsExpect a fun, fast-paced, high-energy environment (with lots of sprinkles)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace for all employees and applicants.
