Machinist

Pay Range: $24-25/hr DOE

Hours: M-F: 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. OR  2nd Shift: M-F 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Location: Broomfield, CO

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

How you'll spend your time as a Machinist:

• Plan, layout, set up, and operate conventional and automatic machines.
• Work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches on production tasks.
• Cut and shape metal to precision dimensions.
• Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions as needed.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Machinist:

• 1+ year of related machining or machine shop experience preferred.
• Ability to add and subtract decimals.
• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• Proficient operating machines and reading blueprints/technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling.
