The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the overall operations, developing and implementing company policies and procedures, and establishing both short- and long-range goals. Essential responsibilities for the role include approving the annual budget, ensuring financial viability, and monitoring enrollment, revenues, and expenses. The President will also oversee contractual relationships with health plan sponsors and government regulators, develop reimbursement strategies, and review clinical and quality plans. Collaboration with government relations and legal teams, as well as providing updates to the Board of Directors, is a key aspect of the position. Candidates for the President role at the company should have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of ten years' experience as a healthcare executive, particularly in the managed care industry.
